USZ

Function:
The USZ is a powerful linear axis with toothed belt drive, designed for applications with high loads and load capacities. The robust guide body consists of an aluminium square profile equipped with parallel rail guides on the top. The guide carriage, connected to four running carriages, is moved
precisely by a long-life toothed belt.
To ensure safe and efficient control, toothed pulleys with coupling claws are fitted as standard on both sides of the toothed belt deflections. The system allows easy retensioning of the toothed belt via an integrated tensioning device in the guide carriage, which ensures ease of maintenance and optimum running accuracy.
The specially designed guide profile of the USZ systems offers high moments of inertia and exceptional torsional rigidity. This makes the USZ ideal for heavy-duty and high-torque applications where precision, stability and reliability are required.
